The Drama International Short Film Festival returns once again to Cyprus, bringing award-winning short films to the island. This special event offers cinephiles the opportunity to enjoy outstanding short films, celebrating the art of cinema. With free admission and the addition of English subtitles in recent years, the festival ensures accessibility for an even broader audience, enhancing the experience of the big screen's magic.

The event is organized by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture, Rialto Theatre, and the Drama International Short Film Festival, in collaboration with the Nicosia Friends of Cinema Society, the Paphos House of Literature and Arts, and the Limassol Film Club. Recognized as Greece’s leading festival for short films, the Drama International Short Film Festival takes place annually in September and subsequently travels across Greece, Cyprus, and numerous international destinations, showcasing and promoting the work of emerging filmmakers.

As every year, representatives of the Drama Festival and participating directors will attend the screenings in all cities to engage in discussions with the audience. This year’s special guests include Evanna Venardou from the Festival’s Press Office, along with directors Phoebus Imellos (film Wings) and Alki Papastathopoulos (film Honeymoon).
